At Puppet Club you’ll learn puppetry skills and work together to create shows. You don’t need any previous experience, and we even supply the puppets! Come along to one of our taster sessions taking place this Autumn. At the taster sessions you will be shown how to animate puppets, bringing characters to life. The taster workshops are fun and include Puppet Karaoke!, working with TV screens, lip sync and an introduction to different types of puppet manipulation and performance techniques.
Puppetry offers profound social benefits for people by providing a safe, imaginative medium to practice communication, build confidence, and develop empathy. It helps shy youngsters find their voice, fosters emotional regulation, models positive social behaviors like sharing, and enables participants to explore complex social interactions.
