An entertaining and informative talk, presented by David Thornton, a trained actor and puppeteer, and the founder of Puppetechnics. The presentation highlights achievements in British Puppetry between 1860 and the current day, including fascinating stories, puppet demonstration and audience participation!
The presentation includes a demonstration of glove, marionette, hand & rod and shadow puppetry and covers topics including the Muppets, TV characters, the origins of Mr Punch, puppets in theatre and much more.
This event includes a digital presentation.
